BRGY. BUSAY

BRIEF HISTORY

Before World War II, Barangay Busay is considered as a sitio of Barangay Siuton. Families of the late Francisco Gravador and Lean Hilotin were the first settlers in this native land. It is situated at the eastern part of Tula-Tula Sur and the northern part of Magsaysay. Since this place is hilly, most of the folks relied on abaca and upland farming. They brought their products to San Francisco, Bulan and Barangay Siuton through the help of Carabaos.

This place is blessed with clear and zigzag river. Along with these river banks are the source of potable water which the native folks in the land called busay-busay, which means a spring. From then on this place was called Busay.
