MSWDO, DSWD RO5 and PSWDO conducted a Training-Workshop on the National Early Learning Curriculum (NELC) and New ECCD Accreditation Standards

In the continuous promotion of the welfare and development of children aged 3-4 years old, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Magallanes thru the Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWDO) and in coordination with DSWD ROV and PSWDO conducted a Training-Workshop on the National Early Learning Curriculum (NELC) and New ECCD Accreditation Standards on February 19-22, 2019. This aimed to equip all child development workers with relevant knowledge and skills in adopting the NELC and to prepare them with the new accreditation standards. Along with other capability building activities, this training-workshop was geared towards the advancement of Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) program implementation with the end goal of providing children with enhanced services and best early learning experiences in each child development center.
