The Federation Officers and Barangay Presidents of the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines Incorporation (PYAP Inc.) – Magallanes Chapter had its Quarterly Meeting on April 6, 2019 at the Conference Hall of the MSWDO. Agenda were the 1st quarter accomplishment report and 2nd quarter plan of action of each barangay-based PYAP; profiling of PYAP members who are Out-of-School Youth; Balik Eskuwela Program; and schedule of Forum on RA 9344. Right after the meeting, PYAP federation officers and presidents proceeded to a coastal clean-up drive in Barangay Aguada Sur.
The PYAP Inc. which is under the Office of the MSWDO of the municipality is a duly constituted barangay based organization of youth between 15 to 30 years old. It is being organized nationwide and is federated from the Municipal/City, Provincial, Regional and National levels. The PYAP federation of different levels serves as strategy that provides forum to discuss youth issues and concerns. The organization specifically aims to provide opportunities for PYAP members in order to actualize their potentials and aspirations, experience self-fulfillment, contribute to the growth of the community and participate in the task of nation building.
