Search for Mister and Miss Magalleones

The preparation for the celebration of the foundation day of Magallanes and the establishment of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish on July 15-16 respectively is now ongoing. We are proud to announce that the Search for Mr. and Ms. Magalleones Festival 2018 is now open.

For Miss Magalleones:

The Pageant is open to all beautiful, talented and intelligent young women aged 18-25 years old, at least five (5) feet in height, coming from all the barangays as well as those living somewhere but whose parent or both parents are born in Magallanes.

For Mister Magalleones:

The Pageant is open to all handsome, talented and intelligent young men aged 18-25 years old, at least five (5’2”) feet in height, coming from all the barangays as well as those living somewhere but whose parent or both parents are born in Magallanes.

There will be a maximum of eight (8) finalists in each category to be selected out of the qualified candidates. Pre-Pageant screening will be based on 4 criteria: Talent (performance level / showmanship, degree of difficulty); Swim Wear (fitness & confidence, poise, grace. Stage presence); Evening Gown (class and elegance, poise, grace and stage presence); and Interview (Intelligence and wit, grace under pressure). Judging will be on a point system.
